About
Both Jim and Jimmy Dumont were members of the football team for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, both wearing number 53 while playing linebacker for the now Big 10 football program. Jim was an AP All-American Linebacker in 1982, and again in 1983, and was the school’s all time leading tackler by the time his career was over. He went on to be drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 1984 NFL Draft, and played 1 year for the Browns, and another for the New Jersey Generals of the USFL. Jim’s son, Jimmy Dumont, was also a 4 year letterwinner for the Scarlet Knights, where he helped his team reach their highest national ranking in program history. Jimmy was a 4 year member of the Academic All-Big East team, while helping the team win 4 consecutive Bowl Championships. When Jimmy graduated in 2010 with a degree in Business Management, the duo teamed up and created Knights Construction, Inc. The youngest son, Chase, joined the ranks once he graduated from West Chester University with a Business Management degree in 2013.
